The Fish of Maui
This Is the story about The Fish of Maui.
Maui had been passed down magical powers by, and he was better than his 4 foster-brother at everything.
One day they got jealous and decided to go fishing the next day, but they did not tell, Maui.
The next day early In the morning Maui hid In the bottom of their canoe.
It then became lighter and they left In laughter not knowing that Maui was hiding and going with them.
They paddled far but It was not good enough for Maui, so he spang up from his hiding place.
Still shocked from Maui’s surprise the obey Maui’s orders to paddle farther. They paddled on and on, they begged Maui for a rest but Maui said “No!”
It became night but the light from Marama ( The Moon ) guided them, his brothers fell asleep one by one.
After hour of paddling It became day, Maui was satisfied with the fishing spot but his brothers were grumpy and tired.
Since they were mad they didn’t give Maui any bait at all. Because of that, Maui struck the jawbone on his nose and used his blood as bait.
Maui spun the jawbone up in the air, around and around. The then threw the jawbone of his ancestor into the water, he got something on his line automatically.
The jawbone was stuck on a carving, it was stuck to a giant stingray. But Maui did not know that.
He pulled with all his strength and muscles In his body, at the bottom of the ocean something became to stir. Above, Maui chanted a Karakia to make the fish lighter.
Maui, pulled with all his might he pulled It up one hand after another, while his brother were too terrified to help. The fish was enraged but was not as strong as Maui.
power rushed through Maui and the great fish floated to the surface. His tail was in the far north and his head was in the far south.
“I must get the hook!” said Maui “Do not touch him while I’m gone.”
But the brothers did not listen to Maui, they started chopping him up into pieces with their paddle blades. By the time Maui got back The Fish of Maui was just a piece of rugged land.

Equal Rights
I'm arguing about Equal Rights in America because I think It's important. Why Is It Important? Well I'm going to explain to you why in this argument.
In America police officers are more aggressive towards darker skinned people, here are some examples. A cop shot a dark skinned male when he was reaching for his license, he was shot and killed by a Minnesota Cop at a Traffic Stop. Also a 12 year old boy by the name of Tamir Rice was shot by a police officer at Cudell Recreation Center In Cleveland, Ohio, November 2014
If we are all equal towards all races, America would be a safer and better place, also If we stop saying negative things about races there won’t be as many fights online and In reality.
When you're a baby we're kind to each and not saying "Oh this skin colour Is dangerous, I better stay away!” Babies are kinder than us because they don't know what hatred and racism ls. And If people stop being racist the newer generation would be better than this current one.
I do think most dark skinned people In America get triggered easily, so there Is a reason why people are more cautious around darker skinned people.
In conclusion equal rights are very Important as I have already stated, It doesn’t matter what the colour of your skin Is everybody should be treated equally. What would you do to stop all of this? I hope you agree with me and I have persuaded you why equal rights are important in many ways.
